If you like classic platform games, like Mario Bros for example, then you will definitely love this one. Alex Kidd is a platform game designed by SEGA that was extremely popular in the 80s and 90s. You might have played it in your childhood, and now you can also enjoy this game again on your computer. As you might remember, Alex Kidd combines strategy and role-playing elements, and you will have to overcome a series of obstacles to complete the levels.

Alex Kidd features decent graphics and cool animations, however you can not play in full-screen mode: the window it will use, only reaches 256x238, but don't worry as it is really enough. In each level you will have to defeat a lot of monsters and a final boss. Somehow you don't really fight the boss, but instead he challenges you to a best two-out-of-three rock/paper/scissors game. If you win, then you can go to the next level, but if you lose, you die and you have to play the whole level again.
