MathType

MathType is a powerful equation editor that allows you to create powerful mathematical notation for MS Word, websites, presentations, desktop publishing, elearning and LATEX-, TEX- and MathML-documents. MathType works with MS Office, Apple iWork, MATLAB, Wikipedia, Mathematica, Maple, Google Docs, OpenOffice.org, Mathcad, Adobe InDesign, and many more.

This software will allow you to create equations in multiple ways like entering math by hand. This feature works with build-in handwriting recognition in Windows7, 'Point and Click'-editing with automatic formatting. MathType creates equations from templates already integrated in the software by templates, which can be assigned to keyboard shortcuts. It has customizable keyboard shortcuts and supports TEX and LATEX. You can copy and paste from your toolbar or simply drag and drop frequent used equations. MathType also adds a ribbon tab in your Microsoft Word and PowerPoint software.
