"A well known interpreter for the programming language, Logo"
Written By
MSWLogo

Logo is a simple programming language that has been derived from LISP. It is an interpreted language, that has been developed to produce graphical lines, allowing the user to create shapes. It is one of the most used languages to teach basic programming skills to students.

One of the best known interpreters for this language is MSWLogo. It has a very simple and practical interface that consists of two areas. The first one, the 'Control Panel', allows you to enter commands and the other one is a display area, where you can see the the output of the commands. The commands you enter will affect the pointer located in the display area, which in MSWLogo is known as the 'Turtle'. You use the 'Turtle' to draw line and create many different patterns.

You can even use MSWLogo to create small games and even applications for Windows. The program will save your creations in a LGO formatted file and is able to load BMP images. It also lets you configure the size and colour of the lines and includes many tutorials in the 'Help' menu.
