Pro Tools 11

Those among you serious about entering the professional audio production field should consider the product presented here, called Pro Tools 11, as it is often used in professional studios and available for Mac and Windows. Now, here we present the latest Windows version, at the time of writing, of this Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Pro Tools is on the market since more than 20 years and is actually developed by Avid.

Pro Tools 11 encompasses everything you might expect from a state-of-the-art DAW and is used for recording and editing not only in music production, but also film scoring as well as television and film post production. It furthermore features musical notation, MIDI sequencing and can run standalone or with specific hardware, such as A/D converters and audio cards with onboard DSP, the latter standing for Digital Signal Processor.
