Windows Live Messenger 2009 brings surprises and improved features for users to be happy with the instantaneous messaging program they´ve always used.

You´ll be amazed with the new appearance of the program, its renewed interface shows a colourful design you can customize by selecting your own colour scheme and theme.

Express more of yourself by displaying your best photos and changing them whenever you wish. Now, it is possible to drag photos into a conversation window and share them while chatting. Otherwise, you can go to the Photo tab and pick from your files or folders.

Windows Live Messenger 2009 allows you to add any of your contacts to your favourite list in the superior part of the list of contacts. If they are connected, you´ll see their icons illuminated by a colour, for instance Green: Available. You can also create groups with any of your contacts, so that you can have lists for people from work, school, university, etc. You have the option to name the group as you wish, the program now features drag & drop support to move contacts between all groups including favourites.

You may let you friends know about the music you are listening to by easily configuring in the program´s options. It is possible to play games while chatting, customize the scene of the conversation window and even invite as many contacts as you wish to a single conversation window (conference).

Windows Live Messenger 2009 enables you to automatically find out about your contact´s latest news from the News section, where you can see what people have been up to in their blogs, the photos they have published, etc.

It couldn´t be missing, the possibility to call any of your contacts from PC to PC. Not only that, but you can also share your webcam and see your contact´s as well.
