Windows Media Player Plus

The freeware download offered here is called Windows Media Player Plus. WMP or Windows Media Player is a Microsoft Windows component and comes preinstalled on Windows operating systems. We also presented it elsewhere on Winportal where you can download it for free.

Windows Media Player Plus is a dedicated plugin for the aforementioned WMP, hence its name. As such, it will extend WMP’s basic functionality with additional playback and user interface enhancements, such as an alternative tag editor, global hotkeys, a dynamic playlist called party shuffle, find-as-you-type search functionality, access to the standard Windows Explorer context menu from within WMP, advanced playback options, among others.
