WinUSB Maker is a tool that gives you the opportunity to boot your computer with an USB stick. With this application you will easily prepare your USB stick just for this. The program is compatible with Windows 7 (8) and Vista, and it supports devices up to 1TB (1024 GB).
You can configure the USB by using a folder or by selecting an ISO-image. These two features are not in other programs of the same type. In the intuitive interface you can see the Setup Folder on the left and the ISO image on the right. The folder you have to use, is the installation folder of an operating system (for example the Windows CD in the drive. The ISO must be the image-file of this optical medium.
The procedure to prepare the stick is very simple and almost idiot-proof. You only have to choose one of the two options ('Setup Folder' or 'ISO image'); after that you press the button browse to select the USB-stick and finally press [Make it Bootable]. That's all. After that your USB stick is ready to use.
This program is used a lot by people in ICT-support functions, because the sticks that are created with WinUSB Maker, can easily be programmed with several tools for troubleshooting and maintenance jobs for different ICT tasks. It can also be a way to make a fall-back for your own computer, just in case it crashes and you want to test if the hard drive still works.
